So is the DACA 6-mos thing a ploy - to make Congress pass a "fix" (as bad as whatever)?

And if the "fix" is swallow-able (the DACAs aren't rounded up), TWITLER can take credit for "negotiating" and making Congress "work"?

PLUS, red meat for his Deplorables, like he toughed it? If it all goes down the toilet, he still "wins."

. . . if he can be said to have any. Have underlings (which he sees Congress as) fight it out as viciously among one another as possible. He makes his own statements all the while to ratchet up the chaos. Then at a certain time he makes his own arbitrary-seeming decision based on the day's mood, dumbfounding and annoying all but the victorious party, who then believes they are in favor and begin lording it over all others in the future.

that way he can say it is not his fault when it falls through. Also, he seems to think that he can govern by edict.
