Also, she wouldn't have written the book in the way she has if she planned to run again.

This is actually what I thought could be a good role for her. She can attack people now in a way that might enable newcomers to promote themselves while she/they give them some cover.

about the election from her perspective, one that millions of voters relate to. She's a major part of history, and her point of view matters, regardless of whether you think she should be silenced.

She offered some criticisms and some compliments of him. I didn't see anything in the excerpts I read that wasn't truthful. I understand you believe that Bernie and his supporters should be able to criticize Clinton and the Democratic Party and never face any criticism in return. That's not how it works. I'm not a fan of double standards myself, largely because they single an underlying assumption that some people are better than others. That' s not a view I share or respect.

Hillary isn't a member of DU. She has no obligation to remain silent about the primaries, or to acquiesce to the Kremlin or any of her opponents versions of how they were conducted. You'll just have to deal with the fact some Americans will read that book.

What a ridiculous position for DU to be in, to not be able to honestly discuss or post excerpts from Hillary's book about the 2016 election. But, that's life in an imperfect world. Previews are a few keystrokes away, and the book'll be out in 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 days. It may already be available on Kindle.

People losing their shit over the book demonstrate exactly why her candor is needed. Everyone got to Monday morning quarterback and drag her during the primary and GE, but apparently some people think her giving her perspective (which happens to express exactly what a lot of us saw and experienced as well) is the most awful thing ever.

It's clear some people will never learn anything, and will be ruled by conditioned hatred and sexism. Among Democrats, that's a recipe for continued failure.
