They are already placing conditions on their support that could kill the effort entirely.

WASHINGTON ― Lawmakers on Capitol Hill broadly agreed on Tuesday that something should be done about young undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children and who will eventually lose deportation protections if Congress does not step in to help them.

But Republicans are already placing conditions on their support that could kill the effort entirely. They are willing to vote for protecting so-called “Dreamers” ― but not without getting something in exchange for it.

“Hopefully there will be some give and take and we can accomplish something,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said, suggesting Democrats could support efforts to boost border security.
....................................
Most Republicans in Congress have previously opposed such measures. A majority of them voted against past versions of the Dream Act, a stand-alone bill that would provide legal status to young undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. Some GOP senators voted for a comprehensive immigration reform bill that included measures for Dreamers in 2013, but also would have increased border security and included other enforcement measures................

Then the GOP can just let Trump explain why he will/will not veto it. Do it soon, because the country and especially the Dreamers need to know what the hell is going on with their future.

4. America ended when McConnell was allowed to tell the country their choice for SC

would not be allowed, that he would violate his sworn constitutional duty and deny the president AND the MAJORITY who voted for him to make that pick. (I dont know about the rest of you, but I wont get over that, it must be remedied)

The rest is icing on the coup cake by Putin and Koch bros etal.

GOP cares about one thing, well two actually, money and white supremacy. So count on these so called "conditions" having to do with both.

Make them own this the same way we made them own ACA repeal. A lot more people want the DACA kids to stay here then wanted ACA to stay in place. They are counting on the Dems having a heart and bailing out their worthless butts. It's a nasty game of chicken but if we blink first we lose. Tie this chicken to their shitty little necks and let it rot there.
