And, boy, I paid dearly for the pleasure.

She's coming to the Auditorium Theater in Chicago on October 30 as part of her book tour and I bought a ticket. I have to say, I never in my life thought I'd pay to see someone promote their book! Still, I'm pretty pumped about it!

Anyone else plan to attend one of her events?

10. I just bought two tickets for Boston!

I had to pull the car over and park when I saw I'd gotten the email. Couldn't wait until I got home for fear of being shut out! $296 each. We'll skip a few movies and manicures and eating out for a while. It's a bargain overall.

No fees or tickets for that one - first come, first serve. She's on-site for two hours beginning at noon, so I'll get there by 10:00 and hope for the best.
