Sherrod Brown, imho, is one of our most consistently down-to-earth yet thoughtful

voices. He seems to be viewed favorably by all factions of our party and also connects readily with those not really "into" politics, but who recognize his concerns as theirs and his motivation as a sincere desire to serve his country and it's people.
We should be seriously considering him as our presidential candidate in 2020.

have any hope of being a successful candidate.

I'm under the impression he's not interested in the job.

I would be concerned about his Senate seat, though. And I think he should pick a female VP.

If not as a presidential candidate then as VP. He is a decent capable person who really is out to help, as you said. I think a ticket of Warren-Brown would be tough to beat. Both have credentials as standing for working people. We could win back states in the upper Midwest and elect our first woman president. Or if he's at the top, then Brown and Kamala Harris.

He'll be 68 come 2020. We need to get a younger generation running for Pres.
