WASHINGTON (Reuters) - FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Thursday he has not detected any whiff of interference into the ongoing investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election.
Speaking publicly for the first time since being confirmed as head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Wray also told an audience at the Intelligence and National Security Summit that he has confidence in Robert Mueller, the special counsel investigating whether President Donald Trumps campaign colluded with Russia during the election.

to the FBI and also the Steele Dossier to discredit the FBI and the dossier. How partisan can this BE? Why isn't something done to force Nunes to step down?

(61,695 posts)What a strange thing to say publicly when an investigation is so fired up that Mueller is hiring experts, and as far as we know, hasn't let any go because they didn't find anything worth pursuing.

(2,074 posts)It seems to me that he is saying that no one has gotten to Mueller, and that there is no interference WITH the INVESTIGATION. That would be a good thing, right?
Or am I just misreading this?
