S.W. Florida & hurricane Irma

Even though the eye is expected to hit close to Miami, the size of this storm we are expected to get here (Bonita Beach) a 10 foot surge and up to cat 2 winds.

We have decided to stay. We got all our preparations done & our generator is good to go. To be on the safe side we have provisions for two weeks if needed.

We should start to feel the effects here late Saturday afternoon to early evening.

Will post updates as long as our internet service works.

To everyone in Irma's path, stay safe!

If you are in a trailer or old wood home then maybe think about going to a shelter.

Best to you.
