Our leadership needs to be careful

The Democratic leadership tends to be very forgiving and overly willing to play nice. I'm not saying that they didn't get a victory here but the excitement needs to be tempered by keeping in mind who he is and what the republican party is all about. Again, great work guys but please tread carefully and watch for out of place shadows and stray knives.

1. Chuck and Nancy are pretty savvy politicians. I'm not that worried...

They played him like a second hand fiddle this time, but they'll be careful in the future. Everybody knows who Trump is and how he operates. The silliest part of it is Ryan and McConnell being so butt hurt, like they didn't expect Trump to turn on them. It's part of his psyche to fuck with people. It's what he does.

2. I'm not worried this time, but they are the republicans are still in control of everything

turnip is dangerously unbalanced and I've no doubt the republicans are lurking in the bushes for the ambush. They still have majorities in everything and turnip will go any which way the wind blows.

it's a short term win for the good guys. But much remains to be defended and fought for.
