I've stayed on the sidelines of the Hillary & Bernie threads, but felt compelled to post one.

We're all in this together, folks.

It sort of feels like having one's parents go to war with each other.

This too shall pass, I think.

I've stayed out of it, I will continue to stay out of it. All I care about right now is 2018 and 2020.

Look, I don't explain what someone else wrote, and my focus is on 2018 and 2020. Period.

When I say "we're all in this together," that means that I have a tone I intend to take on this Website...mainly, that my focus is on 2018 and 2020, and anything outside of that is property of the folks who post it. I don't intend to engage in conflict or argument, I don't intend to point fingers or place blame. I intend to focus on a Democratic Majority in the House and Senate in 2018, and a Democratic President elected in 2020, and that's pretty much it as far as politics go.

I post other things in GD and the Lounge that aren't of a political nature, but as far as my politics here are concerned, people are free to think and do as they please. I am free to choose when I participate and when I don't.

Hope that clears things up for you. I had hoped the original post would have done that by itself, but now it's as explicit as it's going to get.

Your post is three music clips. You did not write what you just said in the OP. So no, it wasn't clear.

9. A little subtle levity

A Hillary and Bernie thread about two people who are not the Hillary and Bernie being discussed here, which was my way of saying that's what you'll find in any Hillary and Bernie thread you'll see from me, and this is probably the one and only that you'll see.

I'm usually a lot more blatant in my posts. This time I went for subtle with a blatant chaser, in my reply to you. So now, at least, everyone here knows where I stand on this. I got the screwdriver and removed the rear view mirror from my car, so to speak. Now I can only see the road ahead.

Take a deep breath. Not everyone wants to leave this without bloody bodies on the ground. Keep your values and move ahead. Thank you.

That russian trolls are working to drive wedges between allies. DU is a prime example of this happening and working beyond their wildest dreams.

All I can do is beg fellow DUers: don't fall for it. So what if someone who claims to be a Bernie-or-Buster says something nasty about Hilary. Do not rise to the bait. Do not start a thread whining about how Bernie cost Hilary the election.

Bernie is not the enemy. Hilary is not the enemy. Russky-bots ARE the enemy. Their filthy trolls ARE the enemy. They giggle when they see us at each other's throats. So stop amusing them.

Disclaimer: Yeah, I caucused for Bernie in the primaries. I happily voted for Hilary in the general election.

Yes, I want the Democratic Party to move a bit to the left and away from corporate influence, but I will not pin my vote on one crucial issue when the party and the candidate promise to fight for the 95% of what I want. I'm pragmatic and I am willing to work in steps toward what is needed. Wouldn't it be nice if we ALL could vote for the vast majority of what we want instead of none of it?

...a maintenance crew is working at the Resolute Desk. They are removing the red button the current occupant uses to summon a Diet Coke. They are taking down the garish gold drapes, the Andrew Hamilton bling. They are restoring it to a stature fit for the President of the United States.

That's what I see.
