'I am an Oregonian'

By Gordon R. Friedman
The Oregonian/OregonLive

... "Immigrants and dreamers like myself continue to serve and support this country with honor and dignity," Preciado told rallygoers. "And we are here to stay" ...

"I'm really concerned about what's going to happen to my future," <Nicolas> said. "I do not know if I'm going to be able to finish school. Or keep my job. I do not know what will happen to my family" ...

"Without DACA," <Solano> said, "I risk being deported back to a country I don't know" ...

And then they have the brass to turn right around and complain about how unfair it is for the master of the universe job creators to be uncertain about anything in the next 10 years, whether it's tax rates, or immigration numbers, or how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

But ordinary people can sit in legal limbo for (at the very least) six months, and Republicans feel that's no hardship.
