(268,717 posts)She does not pretend to know what she doesn't know, but she operates like the first rate researcher she is - ask the right questions simply so that others also learn along with you

(40,416 posts)I don't even know why they do it that way.
BTW, the audio podcast is perfect. It's the whole program (sans commercials) and it's only a 10MB download. Easy for us cellular INet folks in the back woods.
Hope you are well, my good friend. Keep dry.

(1,474 posts)Damn sure wouldn't get near Rachel. Shows who the true journalist is and what a sad joke Joe was during the election.
Rachel is the best journalist I have ever seen and I am 60 and have followed politics most of my life.

(15,682 posts)I was thinking the same thing tonight. Which then made me think about the folks on DU who have said they can't stand her. Then I giggled and thought how lucky I am to not be threatened by strong, intelligent women. Being a woman might contribute to how I feel but there are still far too many women who do feel threatened, even on DU.

I grew up with strong intelligent women (and men) and like you I am never threatened by intelligent women - the more the merrier

(1,474 posts)Strong intelligent women are so attractive. I can't imagine wanting a relationship (romance or friendship) with a docile, self-doubting women. Women in my life have always been smarter than me (granted I do not set the bar terribly high).

(1,587 posts)l recall a friend commenting that she deserved her own time slot and that when it happened she would eventually be number one based solely on her meticulous research. He said too many relevant facts were missing from competing broadcasts. Boy was he right. She is a national treasure.
