Evacuation Line in Naples/Tampa area.

It is currently on MSNBC and it is heartbreaking the number of people lined up to get into a shelter. There are thousands of people and the reporter showed an endless line. These people did not expect to be in harm's way on the west coast of Florida. Now Irma has shifted and they are probably in the direct path. Heartbreaking!!!

No excuse for them not going out and letting those who won't get in know that, so they don't waste their day being stressed only to be turned away.

Heartbreaking stories being reported of people waiting for hours only to be turned away when they finally get to the front of the line.

Most counties must be stressed to the max while employees identify appropriate buildings for shelter and arrange to take them over. Itm, they usually probably can't promise what they haven't secured yet. Which suggests there may be excuses for not issuing statements that might encourage people awaiting shelter to leave.

Seven million Floridians now instructed to evacuate.

media reports have had all of Florida under some kind of watch or warning. I recognize the right to hunker down in place, however ill advised that is, but to say that you didn't expect to be in harm's way anywhere in Florida or Georgia doesn't give you a lot of credibility.
