Tragedy: Eric Bolling Son Dies

https://www.mediaite.com/online/tragedy-eric-bolling-son-dies/

Yashar Ali reported Saturday that Eric Bolling’s son, Eric Chase, died last night. At this time the circumstances remain unclear. Chase, was 19 years old and Bolling’s only child.

It's being reported that it was a suicide. Regardless of how you feel about Bolling, no parent should ever have to go through this. Very sad news.

1. My best friend son's

She came home to find him, in the family car - he has shot himself in the head
Just turned 19, the day before he was fine, playing video games, studying...just came out the blue...no signs no nothing...
Awful for a parent to have to go through..

5. Horrible thing to happen. Whatever you might say of Bolling, nobody deserves to go through this.

Nobody.

6. A sad, sad death.... I'm reminded of Brit Hume's son, Sandy's suicide in 1998

the influence of the Fathers and in some cases the "sins" visited on the sons. Sad, indeed.

10. yes... and surely an issue given father's work with Faux and the far RW, I'd imagine, but

the son was also politically active in Republican politics. He'd also returned to alcohol abuse which was also a likely factor, having been charged with DUI just prior.

12. I think today he could join those gay republican groups

But during that time there was far less acceptance of gays and he had to be around a lot of that growing up.
So he turned to alcohol .

I wonder if his dad has any regrets over his own actions and if he could go back he would make sure his son knew he would accept him.

11. I cannot imagine the pain

of either the suicide or the family.

I wish them peace eventually and support while they work their way to peace.

16. The death of any child is an

unimaginable tragedy, but to lose your only child--I don't know how anyone can pick up the pieces and go on after that.
