5. Talked with my 88 YO aunt about the 1938 New England Hurricane over Labor Day weekend

That was a CAT 3 and killed a lot of people and felled an enormous number of trees...

9. I think it was PBS that did a documentary about that. I am vaguely

remembering a story of a bunch of school kids on a bus that was overrun with the surge and all the kids were killed.

That thing was a monster. Was your aunt in it?

11. Yes - as a child in Maine

She said the air was "not right" before it hit and they had a lot of trees down in the yard.

Luckily they moved the car and it survived.
