Many millions of people will be adversely affected by what these evil bastards are doing.

Environmental toxins will shorten lives.

The impact of increased climate change will cause more coastal flooding and extreme weather events.

Planet Earth, upon which we all depend for life itself, will be made less habitable for our children and their children.

All for short term greed and the literally poisonous rightwing ideology that made possible the ascendency of an ignorant malignant narcissist to the most powerful political office on the planet.

anyone here could find a person who can explain the appointments of these people and others to positions in government that is for the betterment of citizens of this country? I just don't get it. How can appointing a former talk show host to head the Department of Agriculture move that agency forward to do those jobs it has been directed to do? I'm sure everyone here will say it is an idiot move. I think so. However, someone somewhere in government must defend this appointment and be able to give reasonable and plausible arguments as to why these picks are to the benefit of the agency and to the American people who fund it.

I am just too dense to see this as being a step forward. I don't know where to go to read why these appointment were made and why. Does anyone here know? I am completely in the dark here.

They are not. Deliberately not. These Repuke scum are seeking to DESTROY the regulatory framework of the United States government by any means necessary. They don't care who gets hurt, who gets sick, who dies as a result of their evil machinations. The ONLY THING THEY CARE ABOUT is further enriching the already wealthy. "The betterment of citizens of this country" is the last thing on their minds.
