I will be so happy when this hurricane passes, if I hear "Hunkering Down"

a thousand times another day I will shoot the TV. I am on a road trip staying in Vicksburg MS tonight, the hotel has a bunch of refugees
from Florida and there are some from Houston that are still flooded out.

My husband saw one graphic that showed Jose making a loop and heading back for Florida. Not much detail but the graphic alone was enough to make your heart skip a beat. Enough is enough!! The next person that denies climate change might get a knuckle sandwich!

There must be some other terminology that could take its place but I can't think of what it would be.

What did we say before it became the go to expression?

happy, the Russia-gate story has barely been mentioned for days. I was surprised when the hotel desk clerk said there were still

I'm in the area also, not California or North Dakota, and I'm really, really tired of pictures of fallen trees.

MSNBC just left off the trees to briefly report a storm-related "controversy" just now, which suggests a lot of people are. But then, more pictures of trees.
