Somewhere in America there has to be this HUGE cave!

There are, we are told, "many" Trump voters who are "really good people" who just sorta somehow got "swept up" in the pro-Trump/anti-Hillary hysteria and who, if we just treat them right, will vote for Democrats---or, at least, some will.

So, I figure these poor misguided good people must have been in that big ol' cave when the rest of us heard Trump: repeatedly and falsely slander Mexicans as rapists and drug dealers, call for the murder of innocent Muslim women and children, boast of grabbing women "by the pussy", say that John McCain was not a war hero because he got captured, mock a disabled reporter, ask Russia to commit the crime of hacking his opponent's emails, criticize Carly Fiorina's face, repeatedly slander Hillary Clinton by accusing her of unspecified crimes, encourage his supporters to attack protesters at his rallies, and tell more transparent lies than any candidate from any party for any office in the history of our nation.

Surely, these "good people" could not have voted for the man who said all those things if they had known what kind of amoral bag of pus he was, right?

So, before we "forgive and forget" and start kissing all sorts of asses, first tell me: where's the cave?

There are those who refuse to believe the truth and are so shocked by it that they retreat back into the cave. I think this must be what happens when someone switches over from Faux Nooze to MSNBC. They quickly switch back again!

fascist BS paid for by plutocrats like the Mercers and the Kochs. And, they didn't only prefer Trump to Hillary "because her emails", they also preferred him "because Benghazi" and "because pizza/pedophilia" and, that oldie but goody, "because vagina".

But, perhaps in addition watching Faux News, are also very, very stupid. Just plain dumb. Morons.

Should we bother trying to get the votes of the subsection of Trump voters I'll call, for scientific and rhetorical purposes, "fucking idiots?" I don't know. I guess so.

Yeah, we probably should try and get their votes.

I'm not going to try very hard, though. Getting the votes of total fucking idiots is extremely low on my personal list of voter subcategories.

Number one on the hit parade, for that bag of sh*t, has to be mocking someone, who is disabled. It just makes my skin crawl.

just ordinary people for the most part. They're not criminals, and in their own minds, they aren't purposely out to hurt anyone. What they are though, is brainwashed. Every single one of them. They're caught up in the right-wing news bubble. The ones that I know, they've been conditioned by right-wing media to not trust any other news source, and because of that, their political views and view of the world in general, is very warped and based on nothing but falsehoods from Fox News, etc. That's the one thing they all seem to have in common, where they get their news from.

I've personally found it extremely hard to get through to people who are caught up in the right-wing news bubble. When they quote lies from Fox News or right-wing media, you can't even show them proof that they're wrong because they are conditioned to not trust any other source of information. Any effort to do so, is pretty much futile in my experience. Many of the ones that I know, don't even seem to know that their views are racist. They seem oblivious to it. Right-wing media is literally creating racists, many that don't even know that they're racist. If you've ever watched Fox News, or listened to right-wing radio, etc.. then you already know the scare tactics they use to try to frighten their audience against people of color, religions outside of Christianity, etc.

In my experience, not all Trump supporters are knowingly bad people, but they all seem to be 100% brainwashed.

I was young during the first gulf war, but was shocked at how the media fawned over Bush. Then recently we had the obsession over the "Dean Scream", and how Al Gore 'said he invented the internet', and he was too 'stiff' to be president.
The media has really failed the country.
