...I don't hear much about others promoting their books. Neither do I hear anyone attending complaining. As Hillary says, there's nothing compulsory about attending or reading/buying her book.

Charging for speeches and discussion forums is pretty standard for authors, but I understand there's a different standard for some where Hillary is concerned.
