One of Republicans' cause célèbre is the removal of regulations especially those that tell people what they can and cannot do with their properties. This story hopefully teaches them a lesson.

1. Democrats Please Stop Calling them Regulations

They are protections. A "regulation's"chief aim is not to harm the regulated but to protect others from unfair, unethical, harmful effects. Since their aim is to protect, they should be called protections.

2. In my state

Ladies who braid hair (mostly black) need to spend 500 hours in training just to get a license to open a business. Do we need protection from a "bad hair day"? (until you go somewhere else and get it fixed)
