Trump tonight, per WH press pool: "I never even knew a Category 5 existed."

From NYT's Amy Fiscus:

"I never even knew a Category 5 existed,” Trump said tonight of hurricanes, per pool

More on the context of his statement here, from BuzzFeed's Joe Passantino:

The second tweet there is also the first reply to the first tweet.

As you can see, Trump made this stunning remark after first falsely saying the Keys were hit by a Cat 5 hurricane.

A comment on this from New York Magazine's Olivia Nuzzi:

I find it oddly life-affirming to observe the president as he learns about Earth each day.

he's delusional.

He makes shit up, then he actually believes the shit he's made up. (Thousands of Muslims in New Jersey were cheering as the WTC fell...I had the biggest audience in the history of inaugural speeches...Millions of illegal votes were cast in the 2016 election...Obama wiretapped me in Trump Tower...the list goes on and on and on)

Trump is, as Keith Olbermann eloquently puts it, "fucking crazy".

One Florida & Light truck here until today. Hardly any city workers cutting down branches putting palm trees back up. The last two hurricanes we had here the power was up in 4-7 days. That's before we had double whammy of Trump and Rick Scott. All Republican-run pols in my area except Sen. Bill Nelson.

or whatever he does when he gets tired of Presidenting. So he might have missed what happened to the storm in the final track it made moving toward Florida. All he knew was it HAD been a category 5, like those things don't change as conditions change. Thank goodness that Irma did weaken somewhat and you would think a guy monitoring the storm would know that. But then he seems to be light on the details on many subjects so somehow I am not surprised he botched the details on Irma.

about his dick size and he beat President Obama in the size of storms during his presidency.

Yet another sign he is a complete imbecile and dangerous. Maybe he'll tell the Naples folks to have a good time again.

If all the things he ignores had to be listed, all the librairies in the USA wouldn't be sufficient.

Let's establish once and for all what he knows. It is easier and much more faster.

Here is the list :

????

It is simple, no ?

or as trump would say, I never knew there was a category 5 that didnt include black people. He a racist, and so are his supporters. Dont let anyone say, just because I voted for Trump doesn't mean I'm racist.....thats a lie. If you support a leader that is racist, you are racist....PERIOD.

Most people don't even know that there's a hurricane category 5.

He never admits to not knowing something, and the "most people don't know. . . " is his way of saying he doesn't know.

This is from a number of linguists who, horrifyingly, have listened at great length to the buffoon-in-chief's speech patterns.

Of course, in 3. . . 2. . . 1, the WH will deny that he said that about hurricanes, and that it's the result of fake news.

“Great president,” Trump said Tuesday night at a fundraising dinner for House Republicans. “Most people don’t even know he was a Republican. Right? Does anyone know? A lot of people don’t know that. We have to build that up a little more.”

Trump then suggested using a political action committee to run advertisements letting people know that Lincoln was a member of his party.
