Porsche-driving woman who shot homeless man is escort/stripper. (NSFW)

I kind of wondered how a "struggling" wannabe singer-songwriter could afford those wheels (unless her rich lawyer daddy bought it for her).

https://www.google.com/amp/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4884856/amp/Photos-woman-shot-homeless-man-appear-escort-site.html

"Photographs of a Porsche-driving lawyer's daughter who shot a homeless man twice claiming she was in fear of her life appear on a website where she is described as a stripper and $800-an-hour escort.

Katie Layne Quackenbush, 26, has been charged with attempted murder for shooting 54-year-old Gerald Melton twice on August 26 at 3am near Nashville's Music Row.

...

The woman's former fiancé has also come forward after learning of her arrest in the news and says he is not the least bit surprised by it.

'This is just like, completely in her character. This really doesn't surprise me at all. This sounds just like her,' Ian McGrath said in a YouTube video.

......

McGrath said she also had a $2.5million trust fund which he said she would only have access to if she had no felony convictions.".....(more)

2. So what?

There's nothing worse about her job than most people's jobs. It's sure as shit not our place to judge.

She's a horrible piece of shit for shooting someone, not her occupation.

I wonder if dear old dad knew?

13. Her dad had the gall to portray her as the "victim"

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/morning-mix/wp/2017/09/13/homeless-man-asked-woman-to-move-porsche-so-he-could-sleep-then-she-shot-him-police-say/

..."She's a victim in this more so than Mr. Melton," he said. "If anything he's the one that should've stayed laying down on the ground and stayed away from young women that night."

But my original response was to someone who said it was not our place to judge, so wouldn't that apply to her family as well?

32. You said she was not quite the "single mom / struggling musician as characterized by her father"

Which implies her father knew different. I'm just saying he likely didn't.

As to judging, no you shouldn't shame sex workers, but beyond that I'm not really sure what you're getting at with your question.

34. Just that Dad's portrayal of his daughter was . . . limited

And by "limited," I mean incredibly misleading. Whether that was intentional on Dad's part, that I don't know. But Dad made it sound like his daughter with the itchy trigger finger and the trust fund and the Porsche was Ani DiFranco or something.

3. Justice in this case, because her victim (a good musician in his own right, great voice)

is expected to survive, would be a very long sentence for atttempted murder, release occurring when she can no longer get by on her looks and she can experience being poor without her trust fund.

And there is no worse curse to put on anybody but poverty. I've been there.

As Eddie Murphy's character in Trading Places says: The best way you hurt rich people is by turning them into poor people.

6. Kind of irrelevant to the story, I'd say.

However, there is something very weird about the photos in that story. I don't mean the cross-eyed mugshot, the other one. It looks like her head is photoshopped on a body way too small.

It's freakish.

That wouldn't have been a part of the condition of the trust fund IMO unless Diddy thought that would have been an incentive to stay out of trouble.

I have never heard of such a condition. Whoever created the trust knew her criminal tendencies and wrote the trust in a way to give an incentive to stay on the straight and narrow. Didn't work.

Send her to prison for a few years. No excuses, and I don't care what she does for a living. She shot an unarmed guy. Prison!

20. Get a clue people, This woman shot a un-armed homeless man twice in public..........

Then went and had breakfast with her friend like nothing happened. When they returned to retrieve the friends car is when she was identified. After a little reading seems this babes got quite a colorful past, Not to mention she was arrested for beating the shit out of her MOTHER with serious injuries. Well, she will probably get away with what she deserves but I don't see her getting out of this without a felony conviction though. Just a thought..What if a BLACK man in TEXAS did this? Would the bail be 25,000? That's just sex with a dozen or so for this gal.

No jury in the world would convict someone for shooting to death a crazy woman who got out of her car with murder in her eyes and a gun in her hand. It would be surprising if charges were filed.

Sociopath will be free to continue her reign of terror unimpeded, trust fund intact. I really hope I'm wrong, but this is just the sort of case that makes people hate the (in)justice system
