Two posting peeves: Pics of TWITLER's face. And swastikas.

Fully aware that my own posts are anathema to vast numbers who don't even see them, I gratuitously dare to self-disclose:

TWITLER's train wreck from the Day 1/escalator has resulted in his repulsive mug being plastered *everywhere*. Unfathomably, it seems that every single news item is found to be needing his face accompanying it. Not like nobody knows the creepiness of recognizing it. One random count was *thirteen* (13) of his face on the first page of Politico. And for some reason, too often DU posts were similarly defiled, although lately less so.

As for the swastika thing, it's the "45" merged with the swastika. I agree with the message, but detest even seeing swastikas. Twice in my lifetime I've had "explanations" about why swastikas were meaning something else - from a biker; from a WW II memorabilia vendor. I don't care. Gives me the creeps. Just now (what set me off on this) there was this GIF of a "45" morphing into a swastika, which creeped me out. After all, I am now saying "TWITLER" having abandoned "DRUMPF".

Oh, well, no harm in spouting off with this: I am not deluded to think anybody is in this world to live up to my expectations (and vice versa) : Viz, "The Gestalt Prayer" (1970s poster hanging on all our post-Hippie walls).

The Gestalt Prayer

I do my thing and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,
And you are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are you, and I am I,
and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful.
If not, it can't be helped.

(Fritz Perls, "Gestalt Therapy Verbatim", 1969)
