1. Spicer strikes me as a wormy guy who is desperate for validation from somebody - anybody.

I've known people like him - one minute they are your best ally, and then you see them chumming up to someone they had just been trashing. They will do and say anything, for and to anyone, and they definitely can't be trusted.
