Trump just told Macron he was so impressed with all that military stuff when visiting

France on Bastille Day that he was looking into having a similar parade down Penn. Ave.

they explained to him that the roads in DC were not constructed to support heavy vehicles like tanks.

But of course that happened months ago, so he wouldn't remember. If he was actually listening in the first place.
