Donald Trump Jr. Gives Up Secret Service Protection, Seeking Privacy

One less grifter.

Donald Trump Jr. Gives Up Secret Service Protection, Seeking Privacy

WASHINGTON — Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son, has elected for forgo protection by the Secret Service, according to a senior administration official.

The agency ceased protecting Mr. Trump, who lives in New York City and is an executive at the Trump Organization, last week. Mr. Trump, an avid camper and hunter, is said to be seeking more privacy than he can expect with a contingent of agents accompanying him everywhere.

It was not immediately clear whether the decision applied to his family; he and his wife, Vanessa, have five children. Mr. Trump could not be reached, and the White House did not return a message seeking comment.

But giving up protection of even the younger Mr. Trump alone will provide relief for the Secret Service, which has had its work force and resources strained by the size and lifestyle of the Trump family.

The conned Trump supporter halfwits seem to spout the fact that he's giving up the 400K salary whenever they're confronted with the fact that he's using the Presidency to benefit his enterprises by many millions of dollars.

from the article:

"The Secret Service does not decide who falls under its protection. In the case of the president’s immediate family, the agency is required by law to provide round-the-clock security unless it is told not to."

It seems like the Secret Service is protecting the kids only to prevent the President from succumbing to foreign powers and potential kidnapping. Yes, most Presidents would care about their children but who knows about this one?

It would seem to me that they don't have a choice while Cheetolini is in office. . .

The second worst part is the entire Left thinks the only reason Don-Don would give up his taxpayer-funded bodyguard is he plans to either do something illegal or to flee the country.

The worst part is that is almost certainly his intention.

Surround themselves with armed loyalists and the power of the law behind them. Zero transparency and very little accountability. They work for the Don and nobody else.

Think of the "contractors" in Iraq.

If they have something, but have been waiting to get more by using people with wires, this action will just lead to a faster arrest. Hunkering down will them decide to act now rather than later.

Makes me think of that To Catch A Predator business years ago with that prosecutor. After having already had an elicite conversation with what he thought was a minor, he stopped all communication and never went to the bait house. That didn't help him. He already committed a crime with the conversion, so they went to him.

Point being, if you've commited a crime, hunkering down isn't going to save you. If anything, it makes the authorities realize it is time to act.

Not a definitive list:

I think Russia might be the best choice unless one has reason to believe one might have a mysterious accident or accidentally ingest plutonium.

With his interest in big game hunting he might opt for a country offering that opportunity.

But the Kushners will probably be in China, so that's where Daddy will want to go. Not sure if that's a plus or a minus for the brothers...
