Squatty Potty doesn't help. He said just bend forward with your chest on your knees when you poop, and that is supposed to straighten out the kink in your colon much better.
I wish I could remember where I saw that. It was actually pretty interesting, with X-rays and everything, but alas, the memory is the first thing to go when your my age.

Raising your feet is irrelevant. You get the same hip angle for free simply by leaning forward.
