It's bash Democrats hour on Morning Joe

starring Harold Ford Jr. and Ed Rendell. Both of them said the Democrats aren't offering any policies that appeal to people and we can't win just bashing Trump. I'm so sick of this crap. I agree we can't win just bashing Trump but Democrats have come out with some good policy proposals. They were also making fun of A Better Deal.

STRONGER TOGETHER! But how much did you here about that in the media? Stronger together...sticking together for all Americans, making it work for all Americans. Yes we had an economic message about taxes and jobs. It was the same message carried forward from the Obama administration and it included getting Wall Street to "put some skin in the game." Obama asked for it and Hillary was busy trying to get that to work for all of us. But:'DRAIN THE SWAMP' "ESTABLISHMENT DEMS" LOCK HER UP all this drowned out the message. As HRC was trying to get Corporate America to buy into and make us "Stronger Together" she was trashed from the right and the left.

Now the "SWAMP" is in total control. They now run our government and there is a cesspool in the WH. WE allowed our message to be drowned out and we are still doing that. We ridicule "A Better Deal" and refuse to listen to what the deal is and what our Des leaders are saying. Instead we are just focused on "Single-Payer" with nothing else attached. We are the ones pushing that and blocking out our other message about jobs creation and raising taxes on the 1% and lowering taxes on middle and low income workers. We have totally stopped talking about childcare, eldercare, job training and retraining. Trump talks about bringing jobs back. That sounds good, but who is out there informing the workers that bringing jobs back for robots is not creating jobs that they will be able to work in without getting the training they need. We need to re-focus education on preparing workers for jobs now and jobs of the future. And that does not have to mean a 4-year college degree in Liberal Art. We need good mechanics, excellent carpenters who can use modern tools of the trade etc. We are not even talking about that.

JoeScar is still talking down the Democrats in a way that is not constructive but crushing. He has been doing it for year with willing partners. When John Ridgley tried to make the point about the increasing incomes now were based on economic policies and the foundation that Obama built he was all but ignored.

As long as our spokespeople keep bemoaning the party and keep saying we have no message instead of giving the message things won't change. We will accept Trump's message of hate, racism, division and warmongering as the swamp overtakes us all. I have yet to hear anyone step us and say "Yes We Can" and we are "Stronger Together." No country can beat us and no country can match us if we stick TOGETHER and make it work for EVERYONE and stop the division which is leading to decay.

Furthermore, I object to trashing the notion that different groups of people should not be identified and embraced by the party. And using the message of "stronger tougher" coupled with "a better deal" and spoken of consistently is a MESSAGE.

raising middle class incomes, expanding women's rights, campaign finance reform, and making the ACA better. There was a lot more but maybe you missed it. It does seem that you would rather do fly by snipes at peoples posts rather than have a conversation so I am sure you wont reply.
Thanks,
Eko.

If you think the Democrats have a clear message and policies to support it, let us know what it is.

...Reagan... They are sick. These are the people who want Hillary Clinton to "go away" due to "Clinton fatigue" and they should have called Trump a racist when he was attacking Obama.

Clinton fatigue? The entire country has Trump fatigue.

Make that "the entire WORLD" Everyone is afraid this lunatic is ready to go to war. If Joe Joe keeps this bashing of dems. up, his ratings will tank - AGAIN. Wasn't he on the verge of being cancelled before he finally woke up to the disaster that is tRump? He kissed the orange arse all during, and after the election. Gave the blowhard free air time, to bash EVERYONE, and praise himself. Then tRump made the mistake of bashing Mika, and the gloves came off. The ratings improved once the truth began to surface. He will have tRump back on shortly, and then his ratings will sink.

That's what I've observed reading some posts today. Since this is Democratic Underground, we are not allowed to be offended by their message. We must blindly follow Party members, right or wrong.

12. Given His Own Sketchy Past-It's Surprising Joe In On The Air and Anyone Listens

Joe dodged a bullet when the investigation into the murdered woman found in his congressional office was overshadowed by 911. However, he is still the same sketchy guy and it's still surprising an incident of that magnitude doesn't negate his credibility. Why anyone pays any attention to him, in the first place, is a mystery.

Supporting DACA isn't a policy? Providing funds for hurricane relief isn't a policy?

Hey, here's a suggestion for a Reagan-like policy: "Mr. Trump, tear down that wall!"
