GOP Tax Deform Is About Driving US To Insolvency Engorging The Rich/Corporations.

GOP tax reform is a complete lie. The average American will get just a pittance in ta relief. In fact average American taxes will likely go up along with cost of health care and just about everything else.

Now that Obama is NOT in office the deficit does not matter any more.

I'm retired and living, as they say, on a fixed income. Right now that amount is ok. I can manage. I'm in the fortunate position that I'll have two increases in the future: One when I start collecting my on SS next year at age 70 (currently I'm collecting as a divorced spouse on my ex's SS). Then, about five years later I'll start collecting on two annuities that I have, which will increase my income.

I'm far better off than a lot of people, and still I worry constantly. I'm also in sufficiently good health that if need be I could take a temp or part time job for added income. I know that many, many who are my age cannot possibly do so because of health or mobility limitations.

In all honesty, I think the future is going to look a lot like the past: elderly parents living with their children, because otherwise they'd be out in the streets.
