This morning, I only got voicemail for Senators McCain and Collins, but I spoke directly with people on staff for Senators Paul and Murkowski. Call and call and call and urge a No vote on this Trumpcare monstrosity.

Edit: I told Senator Paul's staff member that even though his reasons for voting No are different than mine, I appreciated his honesty in why he is voting against it and urged him to maintain that position--at least he's consistent and doesn't hide what he wants.

I spoke to Senator Murkowski's staff member for a long time about my daughter with Type 1 Diabetes and many of the less fortunate kids I know and work with who also have T1D and how Trumpcare will hurt them. This seemed to resonate with him, since he said one of his best friends was diagnosed with T1D at age 15. He even sheepishly admitted his friend has good healthcare because "he works for the government." (Yes, I plugged Medicare For All when he said that, and he didn't disagree.) He said he would pass on my thoughts to the Senator and to his friend.

CALL! Be respectful and be personal. It helps and it works.
