Is the Equifax website okay now?

I know there were security issues. Have they been fixed?

If not what's the best way to see if I've been affected?

1. There are 3 major credit bureas.

Call one of the other two.

2. Right after the news about the breach broke,

I went on the Equifax website and entered fake names and SSN #'s and they came up as "breached". I entered the last names of "Rainbow" "Birdbrain" "Trumpsux" - all with SSN#'s like 123456, 000000, 987654...Really cockamamie made up info and the auto message I got was that my info had been breached. IMO, something is really wrong with all of this. I don't trust Equifax.

Equifax was forwarding requests like yours to a phishing site/malware. Don't know if it has been fixed by now.
