priority seems to be self promotion and the minute he lost the primary, not surprisingly, ceased to be a Democrat and once again was an Independent. Hillary has said she won't run again and I agree with her decision. New blood, younger blood is welcome, imo.

The get in line thing is working out great. The Republican party is being discredited and people want to vote Democratic in 2018 and 2020.

The Who - Farewell Tour, 1982
It was Daltrey who pushed for the band to stop touring, stating unequivocally “It’s a nightmare” at a press conference in October ’82. “We can’t get any bigger than we are,” the singer explained, adding “It’s good to go out on top.” Diplomatic Rog didn’t mention that Pete Townshend’s drink and drug problems were his biggest issues with life on the road. By 1989 various wounds had healed and The Who were off round the world again, albeit with a horn section and backing singers. Today The Who continue on their “long goodbye,” with dates scheduled until October.

It is never really out of the question that either could run again.

Funny thing is that I think both would be much better candidates that in 2016. I'm not sure us respective supporters would be though. I find "book tour Hillary" much more genuine and intriguing than candidate Hillary. And Bernie is on fire.

It's clear that there is still a raw quality to the voter base and fairly or unfairly it's tied to these two people in particular. We need someone else.

the presidency by default. Other than that, I think we might have to start fresh in 2020. It's not fair and I wouldn't mind if she ran again, but Americans are still overwhelmingly shallow and ignorant so.... whatever it takes to get the repugs out of power.

succession was in on the crime. People who break our election laws should be thrown out of office, but I don't think the way to do this is by pretending that the election laws don't really matter when we want to put someone else in their seat.

The system we have now isn't good, and yes, they should come up with a new one, but if we start changing the laws on the fly to meet our current needs, then we have no real system.

If any are willing I don't see why they shouldn't. Sanders should absolutely not be permitted to get anywhere near the DNC. If he wants to run he can run as an Independent which is basically what he ran as last time. The bizarre branding arrangement was catastrophic and whatever means necessary to disallow it should be put in place forthwith.

p.s. Booker or Harris as VP would give them national exposure and a platform to launch from in 2020 whether the ticket wins or not, but I think the odds are at least even that it would.

Presently, Hillary is not running, in my opinion.

Also, in my opinion, Bernie will be running as an independent.

Both may change their minds... that is also their right. Most importantly, there will be other names and choices. Presently, I can say I will be voting for the Democrat.
