The woman is Stephanie Ruhle, who is Ali Velshi's partner on a daytime show on MSNBC. She is actually very good, very sharp. I like her a lot.

Lindsay Lohan's American twin in The Parent Trap was on my TV.

She did grow on me though, she's a economy reporter and she does pretty well with Ali Velshi. They actually demand answers from their guests and fact check them.

breaking down and bawling her head off during her morning time over the little girl being rescued in Mexico pissed me off. She was still bawling during her next segment. Really? Hey buttercup, YOU are the reason women cannot get decent jobs ! How many men on any cable news organization have ever been seen bawling to the point they could not stop over a sad situation???? Me???? NONE. This world is a shit-hole more than ever since drumpf the fake president has taken over and it is only getting worse. Stephanie needs to toughen up, get on something to help her emotions, or give her job to yet another man.

And no. That is NOT the reason women are not able to get work.

horrible WEAKNESS. Oh and just for the record ...... just announced on MSNBC that the entire little 12 yr old being trapped was a hoax. Ms. Ruhle needs to at least do her homework before putting on the "weak woman tears". No wonder men dominate the airwaves. smh. pitiful !!!!

I have ever read on DU. And, I have read more than a few. Small tragedy, my ass! I raised three daughters, and this grown man cries at stuff like this. And, I am not weak by any stretch of the imagination. Empathy is a sign of strength of character, not weakness.

Good gawd almighty, sometimes I just hate this place.

I guess Obama was weak for crying over Newtown, huh, JanetLovesObama!!

If you don't like a particular newscaster, just wait an hour and someone else will be on.

I don't give a rip if you decide to give up on MSNBC because of one person showing genuine emotion -- they happen to have a particularly good lineup of smart incisive women on just now, and Ms Ruhle is one of them. She asks sharp questions and won't take bullshit for an answer; she came from the Business side and knows economics; and while I never saw her cry, I did catch her yelling "That is a lie!" at some GOP blowhard. You don't see that very often on tv.

Buttercup? What the hell do you call Nicole Wallace? She only looks like a cutie-pie -- that woman is as sharp as a tack, lets other people finish their sentences and never lets herself be talked over or talked down to.

I could go on -- you certainly did -- but I've made my point.

But she's not horrible. Unlike many M$N hosts she's not intellectually incurious. She asks pertinent questions during interviews and I've seen several times she's called RW's on their bullshit. I do prefer the hour she co-hosts with Ali Velshi than the two or three other hours she seems to be on herself every day though.

It took me a while to warm up to Stephanie Ruhle, but now I would definitely watch her over Kornacki, and especially over Todd & Mitchell.

Simply won't watch any of those three and I find it really annoying when an MSNBC anchor of real substance has any of them on their show for "commentary", which they do more often than they should. Sometimes I'll stick around if it's just Kornacki, but I will definitely tune out if it is Chuck Todd or Andrea Mitchell.

They are great. I first saw SR on Weekend Today and was not impressed. Then I saw her on MSNBC and realized how good she is in interviewing Trump admin reps. She was unrelenting and knew her stuff. She's very passionate about standing up for what's right and doesn't tolerate people lying to her. She definitely calls them out and she's quick so she can back up what she's saying.
