A Texas Billionaire, The Stripper He Beat Up, And The Mugshot He Doesnt Want You To See

He had been appointed to various state committees by the Gov. and Lt. Gov. He was poised to help shape the state’s tax policy.
...

...
Hiles pled guilty to a misdemeanor, got off with probation & 35 hrs of community service, and managed to keep the whole thing quiet.

He said his client offered to take down the photo for a donation to women's charities of the worth of a 2012 Bentley (one of the gifts to the stripper, before he beat her up), minus $3,000 to acknowledge his tremendous deal-making skills. Marcus Hiles did not reply. The lawyer thinks he needs to learn about the Streisand Effect. Hence this post.

He did become toxic in Texas politics. But now he's trying to become "respectable" again.

maybe they'll argue that stripping is sinful and he was just trying to set her straight with the Lord as violently as possible

This problem wouldn't have happened if she had stayed home and raised children

He deserves every bad thing that happens to him. He doesn’t think the rule of law applies to him due to how wealth and thinks he can use his billions of dollars to intimidate people. Worst of all, he put his hands on a woman because she resisted his sexual advances, this is extremely disgusting behavior and he deserves to be punished for it. Sadly, their are people out there that will see her as “just a stripper” and give this asshole a pass for what he did. She is a human being just like the rest of us, her choice of profession doesn’t mean she deserves to be violently assaulted.

This piece of trash got 35 hours of community service for assaulting her, that’s a joke of a sentence. His ass should have gotten jail time.

And it doesn't.

We should do something about that.

To start with, we have to stop worshiping the rich.

in court witness statements and a very good Lawyer who threatened to allow the press to speak to the child.

That was a week before the election and trumps Republicans? paid immediately, (that day) for silencing her.

I read those sworn court deposition statements, I believe she (and other girls) were victims of horrible violence. the fabulously wealthy buy their way out of to much bad stuff.

But see, the thing about men like Mr. Hiles is that when they buy arm-candy, they expect their arm-candy to stay bought.

She left him for a time -- enough time to turn a few freelance tricks, perhaps? Maybe she was running low on the $150K he'd given her, and considering how Republicans feel about free handouts, preferred to earn whatever else she needed. Clearly, she didn't know the rules...
