Anybody else think this Graham- Cassidy Bill is Kabuki?

That they set this whole thing up to fail just to please their donors and the 17% who hate anything the black guy did?

"Well, we tried"...

Mc Cain gives them cover and they always knew Paul would vote against it so all they need is just one more. Maybe a lot of them don't really want to harm Americans - as they know this Bill absolutely will, plus the mid-terms would be a blood bath. I know most of the bad parts are timed to go into effect afterward but people are catching on.

I think there is a good chance it will never come up for a vote 'cause nobody wants to be on record one way or another and that result would give them the most cover.

Besides, they can always resurrect it in a year or two depending on whether or not they actually return to regular order and get behind making the ACA better ('cause we know it's got problems even if most of them are caused by GOPers).

1. the fact that they are trying to buy Murkowski's vote convinces me that they really want this.

follow them into the midterms, and rightly so. I think they really were (are) seriously wanting to pass this gawd awful thing. Willingness to vote for Graham/Cassidy tells me all I need to know about any given member of congress, whether it passes or not.

3. I think they're serious and the 3 "no" votes are very wobbly

and we have no independent press any longer to inform most people of what those changes will do to them.

The ACA is in jeopardy. It is real.

5. I think they are serious too. They've already tried hard enough to repeal ACA.

They didn't need to try again.

6. I think they know the results would be horrible for them and everybody else.

and then there are the unintended consequences, and most of them aren't going to be good either. Too risky.

They'll find a way to make it fail and all they need are 3 noes. It's not that hard to sabotage this abortion, luckily.

P.S. I'm still calling all day long 'cause needless to say - I could be wrong.
