Talking to an Australian friend and they are scared SHITLESS!

Asks "WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PRESIDENT DOING?"
"You know we're well within range of whatever that nutjob in North Korea decides to do. And YOUR president is egging the bastard on? What the hell are you thinking?"

I have no answer.

I truly believe that's the case, BTW.

All bark and no bite.

Watch what he does, not what he says.

There is no telling what Kim will do, he is as impulsive and erratic as Trump. Trump is a reckless fool for egging him on.

First, I think even the little murderous prick Kim sees that Trump is a blustering fool.

Second, I really think that for the first time in history, the military may refuse an order from the President. A dangerous state of affairs for other reasons, but with the fool we have in office, warranted.

Unless a military person is ready to end their career, they don't openly oppose the CIC to anyone that listens. But, they may be talking to safe ears.

He's a blustering blowhard and a habitual bully who has pushed people around all his life.

We want him out, now. If your Aussie friend has any suggestions, we'd like to hear them.

do not ask "what are you thinking" because most of us are not thinking that. His much smaller base and heathen administration are thinking this.

I'm not even sure Australia is still our ally after Trump insulted Turnbull for no apparent reason as soon as he took office.

Aussies don't have nearly as much to worry about as people who live in South Korea, Japan, Guam, Hawaii, etc.

Australian's know when we're dealing with blowhards who don't have the guts to do anything and would rather spend their time making threats that they have no intention of following through with.

Republicans are essentially cowards. They do not like to attack enemies they know will shoot back (Iraq was not an exception, but rather a stupid miscalculation). Reagan attacked the island of Grenada, Bush I attacked Panama. Noticed they never attacked their "axis of evil" because countries like Iran and North Korea would shoot back. Cheney, Bush II and Rumsfeld believed (or pretended to) that Iraq would be a cakewalk ("maybe six days, maybe six weeks, certainly not six months," Rummy said at the beginning). Something like five per cent of the population of North Korea is in the military, and they are thoroughly indoctrinated, as well as prepared for any invasion. Oh, they'll shoot back, alright. They have a million people under arms, well entrenched in a mountainous territory they know backwards and forwards, and we don't know the first thing about the place. Kill off ten per cent of the civilian population with a few nukes? Fine with Kim--less mouths to feed. Even if we do send a nuke to Pyöngyang, he'll have just enough time to turn Seoul into radioactive slag before he gets vaporized.

So, as for what our "President" is doing, tell them he's huffing and puffing, but the only house he really risks blowing down is our own.
