So a number of the Trump people including former Trumpers like Bannon and Gorka are supporting Roy Moore in Alabama (he's more Trump than Trump!). Also Ben Carson came out today for Roy Moore. Trump is giving an incoherent, narcissistic speech in Alabama on behalf of Luther Strange. His speech is a rambling disaster (of course), and as usual he seems to have no idea who he is supporting and why. In a nasty little tossed-off line he mentioned his people who are supporting Moore, not Strange. He said "they may not have jobs on Monday," and that I already "got rid of some of them."

(23,975 posts)One without an end. I wake up every morning with a sense of dread.
A few weeks ago, there was a thread here on DU asking what stage of grief people were in after the stolen election. I replied that I was stuck in the first one - denial and disbelief. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!

(5,611 posts)cowards and now he's discussing Hillary and the electoral college and asking the audience (the audience is not clapping either) if they "remember" Ohio and Iowa. The audience seems bored -- even sort of negative -- they clap here and there but not with much energy. Now he's telling them he's not coming back to Alabama because he doesn't need to as he's 30+ points ahead. The audience again seemed stunned.
Now he's discussing the "Russian hoax." The audience is NOT clapping. They are also not laughing at his stupid jokes about not seeing any "Russians in Alabama or Pennsylvania." He is also not mentioning Strange (they clap when Strange is mentioned but not with much enthusiasm).
He just said Pelosi is "very nice." But the "democrats control the senate" (?) Audience not happy.

I am so glad to hear he is bombing big time at yet another rally.
Usually people do not shoot themselves in the foot this many times in a row, but gosh darn, that Trump, fella,
he does it more than anyone else!
Bigly!!

(3,363 posts)Roy Moore who is such a horrible person he was kicked off the State Supreme Court twice, and Strange who seems to literally worship Trump.
I can't deal with these people. These idiots do not deserve to hold a Senate seat!!!
/sigh

(5,611 posts)This is Alabama, and I am getting a weird, negative vibe from this audience (I mean negative against Trump). The applause gets weaker and weaker.
