Trump has to live in the pass in order to live tomorrow! He rehashed his campaign rhetoric and he was campaigning for the "loser" in Alabama! I would say unbelievable, but what else is new?

(16,373 posts)The translator picked a word that's out in left field for nearly everyone who wasn't at least an English major. The phrase he was looking for was "senile old man. " Dotard goes back to when Shakespeare was in his dotage!

(24,259 posts)It wasn't all that uncommon for me to hear the words dotard, dotage and, my favorite, dottie being used around 50 or so yrs ago (back when I was a young whippersnapper. )
It's sort of fun to see this oldie revived even if it's just a Trumpian inspired fad.

(17,175 posts)you can stay in campaign mode (which is apparently all the baboon's ass cares to do) without being overly concerned with all that boring stuff that you were elected to do in the first place.
Why any sane republican would want him campaigning for them, I can't understand. Speeches that start out like "I'm here to speak for My Good Friend __________, who is running for ________. But enough about him. Let's talk about ME..." means he isn't really there for THEIR benefit.
But I said "sane republican". I probably answered my own question right then and there.
