The Bottom Line Is That Charities & Churches Should Provide Health Care For Poor.

What the GOP and libertarians in particularly believe is that the churches and charities should be the institutions that provide medical services to the poor. In fact such belief does not end their either. It is a 19th century model where these institutions take care of all domestic needs and also are the chief component in helping during natural disasters.

In their view the government only one role. That is to fund the military and security forces from international threats. Most federal responsibilities should go to the states. The Reagan Revolution has always been about devolving everything no DOD to the states. The ACA repeal bill is ALL about sending not just health care to the states.

You name it, if it is a federal program NOT defense it goes to the states and may not even be block granted.

or providing abortion services or birth control information.

And of course, that church would claim the right to freely practice its tenets by refusing service to those they deem "offend God and the Bible".

around the world. That's why it has to be so big. The Democratic Party's point of view is the purpose of the military is to defend America itself from foreign enemies.
