Charlie Crist (D-FL) 2020 Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee or 2022 Democratic US Senate Nominee.

Charlie Crist former Republican Governor turned Democratic US Congressman from Florida as a 2020 Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee to Kamala Harris (D-CA) or Cory Booker (D-NJ). Democrats pick up FL and PA-a state Crist was born in.
Crist could also run for the US Senate in 2022 against Marco Rubio.

Crist has never seemed anything but sleazy and opportunistic to me. Don't saddle any Democratic presidential candidate with him.

He's seen as an opportunist - and while he has some support (obviously)
he's certainly not respected enough to ensure a FL victory

So he changed to a Democrat since he knew the Florida Democratic Party would support anyone OTHER than a real progressive Democrat.

Politics has tilted so far to the right that Crist is now seen as a moderate Dem. No thanks.

I am all for accepting refugees and allies where we can find them but we should not make them thought leaders or standard bearers for the party.

I stopped supporting the Florida Democratic Party when they put him in as a candidate against a REAL Democratic candidate.

I will NEVER support Crist for any office. He was a Jeb Bush crony who continued Bush policies during his four years as the Florida governor. He has not changed at all. Sure the increasingly radical Republican Party will no longer provide him with the money to run for office - but that does NOT mean that Democrats should do so.

As for thinking that Floridians would vote for a ticket that includes Crist, look at the FACT that he did not have support to run for re-election as governor, and he lost the primary race against Marco Rubio and then lost as an Independent in the general election which voted in Rubio as senator. Then he lost to pRick Scott in 2014 running as a Democrat. He did manage to beat David Jolly- a moderate Republican - for a seat in the US House in 2016

Florida voters don't like him very much and I doubt putting Crist on a ticket would sway Florida or any other state.

Remember, Florida went for Barack Obama in both 2008 and 2012. The 2016 United States presidential election in Florida was just over 1% difference between Trump and Clinton so it was extremely close.

Florida is a swing state, but a DINO will not swing Florida to the Democratic side. Give us a REAL Democrat and fair elections and we will go Democratic!

Tired of this loser mucking up elections in Florida. He needs to do the right thing and stay away.

I do remember that while the GOP in general was trying to oppress the vote in Florida, Crist was one of the lone Republicans who didn't go along,(maybe not in all cases because I don't know his full history, but at least in a couple) so I give him props for that.
