Sheila Jackson Lee just nailed Trump

If "disrespecting our heritage" & "everything we stand for" was a fireable offense, you Mr. Trump would no longer be President.

She also retweeted the LeBron James tweet calling Trump a bum and saying that going to the White House was an honor until Trump showed up.

Your tone is odd. Are you against her having the aisle seat, or against Trump and don't want him to WinkyDink Sep 2017 #5

She has had a lock on an aisle seat during the State of the Union address for the past 20 or so years. She does it so she can be sure to be one of the first to personally greet the president, whoever they may be. She did it during George Bush's reign.

I hope she just discontinues this for next year's address.

be greeted by SJL?

I'm thinking the former, in which case you've taken a wrong turn.

I just meant that I don't think she's going to want to greet Trump next year. What makes my tone odd?

I just think that if the press notices she is no longer interested in greeting the president, they might point out the fact that she no longer cared to uphold that tradition.

So what? Someone has to have an aisle seat. Why not let her have it? I can't imagine getting my panties in a wad about this triviality.
