Hillary Clinton kicks off book tour in DC

by Tim Barber/ABC7

WASHINGTON (ABC7) —

The line to see Hillary Clinton kick-off her book tour went out the Warner Theatre’s doors and around the block.

The excitement was not surprising considering the event was in the District of Columbia, where Clinton won nearly 90-percent of the vote during the presidential election.

After a minute long standing ovation, Clinton talked about what she did right and wrong during the campaign. She also complained about the outside forces, which she also blames for her loss—from the media to misogyny; from racism to Russia.

When Clinton was asked whether she preferred President Trump or President Putin, Clinton jokingly replied, “I ran against both of them.

The discussion aired live on C-SPAN Monday night and was hosted by the DC book store Politics and Prose. The business is down the street from the pizzeria Comet Ping Pong.
