The republicans need to look up the phrase "beating a dead horse".

The Google definition of "Beating A Dead Horse" is as follows: Flogging a dead horse (alternatively beating a dead horse, or beating a dead dog in some parts of the Anglophone world) is an idiom that means to continue a particular endeavor that is a waste of time as the outcome is already decided.

Colin Kaepernick was decided last year. How is hating what he did still a thing, and why does our president suddenly care about it? The GOP all they care about is fucking petty bullshit and they do it because they know it pisses us off. That is beating a dead horse.

Because that's exactly what Trump did yesterday. He didn't just beat the dead horse, he took it out to the back and shot it 15 times.

And Colin Kaepernick isn't the only dead horse the GOP has beaten.

Benghazi? They beat that dead horse so many times that it didn't have a solid rib cage.

Obamacare? That dead horse has been beaten to death and they'll continue to beat it until morale improves.

Bill Clinton's sexual harassment trial? They're still beating that dead horse 20 years later.

Even stuff that was proven to be bullshit like Pizzagate and Seth Rich? You can bet they will beat that dead horse. And let's not even count how many boycotts the GOP has staged since the election over petty bullshit, like Oreos, and toilet paper, and department stores and Hamilton, and they continue to do so because that's what they do - they beat the dead horse. They beat it until they can't beat it anymore, and then they get back up again and still continue to beat the dead horse! WTF is with these people?

If you don't have viable solutions for any problem, I guess bullshit is the alternative. They're not exactly a forward thinking group.

They control the House, Senate, Presidency, and Supreme Court. So obviously the tactic of agitating their base with hate and fear-mongering works for them. We Dems have better start winning some elections. Starting with putting the Bernie-HRC recriminations to bed.

They know "a lie can fly halfway around the world while the truth is still getting its shoes on," They know that if a lie can live in people's minds for even 20 minutes before refutation arrives, it has have taken hold in memory.

They just keep snowing America with what they want people to swallow until it's driven in.

As for reversing what they've accomplished, they're doing a lot of that themselves. Now that they are in power, they the truths revealed by their own actions are also being driven in. Their true goals.

DU is infiltrated with their agents, and no doubt, incredible as it still seems, Russian. Some arrive every day and are detected and removed, but others get through and use us as a forest to both hide among and shoot into. Completely agree with refusing their attempts to hammer at Sanders, and as improbable as it sounds healthcare, as wedge issues to divide us.
