Given that this is taking social media by storm. Could Facebook target the NFL players with ads as a debate distraction during Monday Night Football?

So none of us should be surprised. The thing is we're not targeted by their algorithms- we won't even see it happen if our friends aren't targeted either.

Kaepernick kneeled to protest the treatment of AAs in our society. Then it because intertwined with the 1st amendment.

Personally I love that most in the NFL are making a stand.

and we are now watching a fairly astounding act of solidarity in support of players who have been symbolically protesting racial injustice in amerca using their visibility on national television to do so.

This is a big deal.

I am pleasantly surprised with NFL's reaction. Yet find it interesting there wasn't nearly this much support for Kaepernick earlier.

Trump is known for his famous feuds, but this is a feud with the NFL.

I think it makes many people feel vulnerable. It is extremely inappropriate and crosses the line for a president. Of course all his twitter feuds are inappropriate, but this makes NFL fans feel vulnerable too.

ETA: Trump's feud with football players is racist. It is fairly overt racism. These players aren't doing anything illegal.
