Until the baseball season is over I don't have a lot of interest in football.
However, this afternoon I am going to a protest organized by my local Friends of Indivisible group, in support of BLM of St. Louis. More people were beat up and arrested for peacefully protesting at the Galleria mall in St. Louis yesterday, without even so much as a disperse warning.
So, while I won't be taking a knee, I am going to have some skin in the game.

(25,140 posts)It brought tears to my eyes to see the Texans all linking arms. Solidarity with their brothers. I liked that I could see their faces. I could see the solidarity in their eyes.
It was worth watching, and I do not watch football.
The Patriots were mixed. Most of them kneeled, but some white players stood separately.
