Sen. Mark Warner needs statements re: Healthcare by tomorrow (9/25) 9:00 am ET

From VA Sen. Mark Warner:

The GOP's partisan fight to repeal healthcare has been declared dead before, and I'm not naive enough to think it's true now either. On Monday, the Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing on the "Graham-Cassidy" healthcare repeal bill. This hearing shouldn't be mistaken for the thoughtful, bipartisan process that an issue as important as healthcare demands, but it's the path Republican leadership has chosen. As a member of the Finance Committee, I'm asking you to participate in this hearing in three ways:

1. Submit a statement for the record by sending an email to GCHcomments@finance.senate.gov by 9:00 AM Monday morning. Tell your story, let Congress know what healthcare means to you. Your voice matters more than ever.

2. Share this post to spread the word.

3. Tune in to the hearing Monday at 2:00 PM ET. I will be broadcasting it on Facebook Live.

Yesterday, Senator McCain once again reminded us of what true statesmanship looks like. Now it's on us to show my Republican colleagues what active citizenship looks like in our Democracy.
