To distract from the fact that they're doing it to call attention to an issue they feel is important.
Now, what was that issue? Must've something about hating America or not being grateful for being in this country or being on national television or making millions in the nfl, right?
Oh no, hey, I vaguely remember! No one talks about it anymore because it's all about knees and patriotism and stuff like that.
It is as something about not being happy about black people getting killed in routine traffic stops and such. Wow, those kneeling players really should be fired! How dare they spoil our beautiful minds with such images!
Seriously, anyone who objects to kneeling and fails to address the entire point of the kneeling is making a statement of their own, and it isn't a pretty one.

(228 posts)Is alot more than saluting the flag. Its about loving your country enough to want to make it better!
In this country we are suppose to celebrate freedom of expression and nothing is more patriotic than supporting an individuals right to freedom.

The teams that didn't lock arms had a few guys on the side standing with their hands over their hearts.
I really liked the locked arms.
The Texans brought tears to my eyes. (And I don't even watch football!!)
