I originally supported Sanders but voted enthusiastically for Hillary a month early

As a show of support for Hillary and for some healing, who else supported Sanders first but worked hard for Hillary once she got the nomination? Who else here who supported Sanders felt like their heart had been ripped out when Hillary lost?

...after supporting Sanders in the primary. Then again, my crowd skews 20 years younger than DU. It was a devastating loss for all of us. I'm sorry you missed it in a rush to blame your fellow Democrats for the loss.

May some of them did, but most claimed then and now to be Independents. But it's no sense in crying over spilled milk now. I have always supported the Democratic Party and always will. If there comes a day when there's nothing left of the Democratic Party then I'll have to deal with that day when it gets here. Until then, there's still hope.

Seriously, the Sanders hate is absurd and I'm beyond sick of it. The vast majority of his supporters voted for Clinton.

But when Hillary Clinton got the nomination, I switched without hesitation, and with a great deal of pride. She was so ferociously well-qualified for the job, any Democrat opposed to her could only be described as deluded.

I had to call in sick the day they called it for Trump. So did my wife, a once-unshakeable Republican.

We were robbed. Hillary Clinton would have been an historic President...

2016 wants its primary campaign back. We're 9 months into a Trump administration. Eyes on the prize.

And when the election was called for that Orange Compost Pile I was utterly devastated.
My dentist told me she cried until dawn.

I worked the phones to GOTV for Hillary and became very enthusiastic about her. I was so devastated when she lost that I had to call in sick because I couldn't stop crying.

Hillary would win by then. I would have voted at the time for either. So I was not a Sanders supporter but I still felt as if my heart had been ripped out...any thinking American with a heart felt that way...except I suppose Green traitors, left left riffraff as is found at Jackpine. I am not a fan of Senator Sanders these days. I have to say and will not vote for him in a primary should he choose to run in 20. And I do think we need new blood.
