Maggie Haberman doesn't want to admit that many of her colleagues dumped cold water on the Russia story for a while because they saw it as the Clinton Campaign "making excuses" - that's the level of antagonism towards Hillary Clinton among some in the press. They've made all sorts of excuses like russian collusion was too 'crazy a story to believe at the time' - Wanna bet if the Clinton campaign was accused similarly, they'd have been all over it like white on rice?
