It is about injustices and police brutality against black Americans, for starters.

4. The people protesting are damned if they do, damned if they don't.

The right to protest is a long tradition in this country. The people taking a knee are quietly but visually expressing their protest. Not in a riot, glass breaking, fire setting way. They are simply expressing their views on the situation. The people who are upset about this protest are doing the equivilent of sticking their fingers in their ears and yelling, "I can't hear you!"

If we had a leader who really wanted to sooth the situation, reduce the heat just a little, he would explain why the kneelers are exercising their rights as citizens and are not being disrespectful of anyone. But we have a man/child in power who is exploiting the situation to distract us AND to divide us. As things get tougher for him to hide or cover up, expect more divisive rhetoric from the Buffoon in Chief.

a rich white man tries to define what somebody else means by their words and gestures. Isn't it up to the ones who are protesting to explain what they are protesting about?
