Trump retweets account praising Pat Tillman in call for NFL boycott
President Trump continued to criticize protesting NFL players Monday, retweeting an account that called for an NFL boycott and referenced former NFL star Pat Tillman, an Army Ranger who was killed in Afghanistan in 2004.
NFLplayer PatTillman joined U.S. Army in 2002. He was killed in action 2004. He fought 4our country/freedom. #StandForOurAnthem #BoycottNFL, the tweet, from Twitter user @jayMAGA45, reads.
Tillman played for the Arizona Cardinals before enlisting in the Army after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.
He was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire in 2004, launching an attempted military cover-up meant to obscure how Tillman had died.

I hope his widow and family replies with an appropriate response because there is no doubt that Pat Tillman would have been very outspoken against Comrade Trumpsky and given him a lecture on the definition of Patriotism and honor and duty.

In Dr. Johnsons famous dictionary patriotism is defined as the last resort of a scoundrel. With all due respect to an enlightened but inferior lexicographer, I beg to submit that it is the first.Ambrose Bierce, The Devils Dictionary, at entry for patriotism, The Collected Writings of Ambrose Bierce, p. 323 (1946, reprinted 1973).
